This show presents the latest works of Yogyakarta-based artists Rudi – aka Rudi Lampung – Hermawan, Prihatmoko Moki and Malcolm Smith. In 2013, the three contemporary artists founded Krack!, a studio and exhibition space in the centre of Yogyakarta’s art district. Krack! focuses on printmaking, specifically silkscreen printing, and have pushed the medium of printmaking in innovative new directions.

Krack! usually works collectively and collaboratively, but for this exhibition they have been invited to make works as individuals. These images explore the contradictions of modernity and modernization: of labor, technology and memory.
